Why have a blog?

What could I possibly have to share that anyone else would want to read? I suppose, if you know me personally, you might be mildly interested in what I think about the world, other people, and things that are happening to me. If you don't know me, maybe you are of a similar mind and looking for someone to validate your warped perceptions.
